Hibug (hibug.me) is a bugs center — a place where developers, engineers, and technical practitioners share real bugs, issues, and incidents they hit, and exactly how they fixed them. Every post follows the same four steps: Investigate → Explain → Fix → Verify, so you get the root cause, the environment, a tested fix, and security notes in one place.
Hibug is built and operated by oDesk Software Co., Ltd.

Check your card details, available balance, and whether your bank blocked an international transaction. We retry failed renewals automatically and keep your access during a short grace period; if payment still fails, your account returns to the Free plan until you subscribe again.
For Authors
Sign in, go to Account → Become an Author, and complete the short application. Once approved, you can publish posts.
Follow the four-step framework:
Investigate — what was the root cause?
Explain — the issue plus environment (OS, versions, configs).
Fix — how to fix it, and how to test the fix.
Verify — proof the fix works, plus any security implications.
Include error messages verbatim, minimal reproduction steps, and remove secrets (API keys, passwords, internal hosts, customer data) from logs and screenshots.
Usually 1–3 business days. You'll get a notification when your post is approved or needs changes.
Through the Hibug Partner Program:
Paid posts — you earn from qualifying views by paying members on your member-only posts.
Donations — readers can tip you one-time or monthly through the donation providers offered on your profile.
Rates and thresholds are shown in Account → Earnings before you publish paid content.
Earnings are calculated monthly. Once you reach the USD 10 minimum, request a payout using a method available in Account → Payout settings (e.g. bank account, Airwallex account, or PayPal).
Donations are settled to your connected account with the provider that processed them (e.g. PayPal: one-time donations instantly, recurring donations on a monthly schedule).
Yes, shown before you confirm a payout:
Personal Income Tax (PIT) withholding as required by Vietnamese law.
You must complete tax verification in Account → Tax Information before your first payout.
Posts are either free or member-only. Member-only posts earn from paying members' views. Where single-post purchase is enabled, you can set a price in the post editor.
