Docker Compose depends_on is not enough: app crashes with Connection refused to the database

Our API container crashed with ECONNREFUSED on about one in five CI runs and on every fresh laptop setup. depends_on only waited for the Postgres container to start, not to accept connections. A real healthcheck, service_healthy and a small retry loop fixed it.
